The Accident Compensation Seminar is a well established, highly regarded, biennial forum for insurance practitioners and actuaries involved in accident compensation schemes to keep them abreast of emerging issues in this aspect of insurance.

HWCA members agreed to present three papers at the 2007 IAA Accident Compensation Seminar:
- Creating a service-focussed industry.
  Presented by Len Boehm of the Victorian WorkCover Authority;
- Facilitators and barriers to return to work following workplace injury – the strengths and deficiencies of the research literature.
  Presented by Greg Murphy of the WorkCover Corporation of South Australia; and
- Funding Shocks to the ACC Workers' Compensation Scheme (Employer Account).
  Presented by Gavin Pearce of the Accident Compensation Corporation, NZ.
